榮獲Uptime Institute設施架構(Facility Construction Tier III認證

香港首項及唯一榮獲Uptime Institute「設施架構」認證的基建設施



香港 — 2014年8月19日 — 全球領先的數據中心解決方案供應商Digital Realty Trust, Inc. (NYSE: DLR) 攜手CenturyLink (NYSE: CTL)旗下全球領先的雲端基礎架構以及託管IT解決方案供應商CenturyLink Technology Solutions於今日宣佈,其合資興建的位於香港將軍澳的數據中心榮獲Uptime Institute「設施架構」(Facility Construction )Tier III認證。該數據中心是香港第一間亦是唯一獲Uptime Institute「設施架構」認證的基建設施。

為獲取該認證,除了多項要求外,數據中心必須確保所有服務於重要環節的元件都擁有持續一致的可維護性。Uptime Institute同時驗證了設計文件以及基建設施,並按照Tier III的要求進行了各項測試。Uptime Institute的Tier認證確保數據中心的所有重要基建元件能夠提供企業級別的服務。

Digital Realty 時任行政及財務總裁A. William Stein表示:「Digital Realty在全球有20項新的數據中心項目與Uptime Institute開展合作以獲得其Tier III設計及設施(Design and Facility)認證,香港該項設施即是其中之一。這顯示出我們致力於在全球範圍內為客戶提供靈活彈性以及安全可靠的數據中心解決方案。」

該項合資興建於將軍澳的數據中心於2013年6月獲得Uptime Institute的設計文件認證,並於2013年11月正式落成。
