Clubhouse 大家都很好玩，但大家都有指出擔心它會被中國政府竊聽，或獲取有關的內容以危險自身安全。在大家的疑慮後，開發 Clubhouse 的 Alpha Exploration 向 Stanford Internet Observatory 表示他們將採取措施進行改革，以消除用戶疑慮。
72小時後不再 Ping 中國伺服器
根據他們的說法，他們將於阻止 Clubhouse 向中國的伺服器發送 Ping 訊號，這樣可以避免 clubhouse User ID 出現在中國的伺服器。
根據 Clubhouse 的說法，這個 Ping 並不影響使用，只是在日常連線時為了更快連線而進行的連接，而未來將會把有關的中國伺服器排除在外。而這個更新將於 72 小時內完成，並將由第三方機構認證核實。
For example, for a small percentage of our traffic, network pings containing the user ID are sent to servers around the globe—which can include servers in China—to determine the fastest route to the client.
額外的加密
另外，Clubhouse 也將於 72 小時內為其訊號進行額外的加密，以保障用戶。暫時還不知道這裡指的額外加密是什麼？但或許是 Stanford 裡提到的額外 end-to-end encryption (E2EE) ，具體詳情有待 Clubhouse 公佈。
Over the next 72 hours, we are rolling out changes to add additional encryption and blocks to prevent Clubhouse clients from ever transmitting pings to Chinese servers. We also plan to engage an external data security firm to review and validate these changes.
