Apple 今日對 Education Store 推出重大變更。首次，小米 Apple Watch 現於特定市場為學生及教師提供折扣。Apple 亦擴大使用 Education Store 的驗證要求至新市場。由今日起，Apple Watch 可透過 Education Store 以折扣價於以下國家購買：Australia、中國（經 AliPay）、Hong Kong、Japan、Malaysia、Singapore、南韓、Taiwan 及 Thailand、Vietnam。
此外，Apple 現於 Hong Kong 及 Australia 要求透過 Education Store 進行驗證。先前，Apple 於上述所有市場要求驗證，但 Hong Kong 及 Australia 除外。Apple 與 UNiDAYS 合作進行驗證。此變更意味，用戶須於 Apple Education Store 購買前提供資格驗證證明。
